Many of you know Chasity Mattox and her strong desire to serve the community. In case you don’t know this, she is often seen filling the mini-food pantry at Yale and Manchester (AKA the Community Cupboard). And, her kids and husband frequently lend a helping hand. We know that she’s shown compassion on numerous occasions, often unseen, but nonetheless continuing to care for those in need. We appreciate you!!
Carolyn Munch, who regularly keeps tabs on the Hygiene Heroes Trunk, is so conscientious and caring! She often adds much-appreciated items to it, hoping that neighbors in need will find what they’re looking for! We appreciate her thoughtfulness and desire to continue finding ways to help our community!! Elaine Oliphant, a resident of Richmond Terrace - A Lutheran Senior Services community (Richmond Heights, MO), is passionate about helping those in need! Recently, she helped the team that assembled meals for The Family Freezer, despite the fact that she’s blind! If anyone has received a fudge pie from the freezer, they will attest to the fact that she knows how to bake! Today, she gave us a bunch of items she ordered for the pantries. What a generous and kind woman! Thank you, Elaine!! ***WE LOVE HEARING ABOUT PEOPLE IN OUR COMMUNITY THAT ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE! IF SOMEONE IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD SHARES A KIND WORD OR AN ACT OF COMPASSION THAT MAKES YOUR DAY, PLEASE LET US KNOW!...SEND US A PRIVATE MESSAGE AND WE'LL SHARE IT THE NEXT MONDAY!!
